The controversial Queen’s speech took place on Monday the 14th of October. It listed many priorities including crime, the NHS, the environment and, of course, Brexit. JSP: the political response

Calls to send the JSP back to the drawing board and have it rewritten have been met with a mixed response across the authorities. Marvin Rees, mayor of Bristol has acknowledged that he will heed the advice given by the inspectors but remains committed to moving forward with his housing agenda: “We will press on and deliver on our promise to the city to build homes and tackle the growing housing crisis.”
