Positive result at committee for 15 +2 storey development in Bristol

MPC was instructed to support Hadley Property Group on their proposals for a 15 +2 storey development on a dilapidated former petrol station site in Totterdown, Bristol. The proposals had been received negatively by near neighbours and the local residents association before an application was submitted to Bristol City Council but through careful consultation were approved 8-2 at committee.

MPC worked with Taylor Wimpey to run a programme of political and community engagement on plans for 140 new homes on land in Sawbridgeworth, East Herts. The allocated site was the first to be subject to East Herts’ adopted masterplanning process, which requires extensive engagement with communities.

Consent for news homes in Haddenham

MPC was appointed to work on an outline proposal for up to 40 homes in Haddenham in April 2017, based on our knowledge of the authority. By engaging early on with the local school and the village’s Community Road Watch we were able to assuage many of the concerns voiced by the community, securing support from the Parish council and ward members.
