70-acres Business Park near Lincoln backed by Council
Planning officers have approved the second phase of St Modwen Park Lincoln development to create a huge business park in Lincolnshire. The plans are set to create 960,000 square feet of commercial space on a 70-acre site near Swinderby.
North Kesteven District Council’s planning officers approved the plans, saying that the development was placed in an ideal position between Newark and Lincoln. NKDC’s economic development officer said, “St Modwen Park Lincoln is advantageously located just off the A46 providing excellent connectivity to local, regional and national markets”. The units were also praised for their attractive and modern design, blending with the existing development on site.
In addition to warehouses, the plans will include offices with a reception area, gated service yards, cycle and refuse storage and a pumping station. The build will also include 65 car parking spaces between both units.
Construction on the site started in August last year and is due to be completed in February 2020.
