Thirty storey office-to-residential conversion in central London
MPC was instructed to compile a programme of public consultation for proposals to convert a 30 storey office tower into over 200 high-end residential units.
The design for the remodelled building was the work of an internationally acclaimed architect and also presented a prominent public art installation at street level. The scheme was both high profile and significant for the area and attracted coverage in both the architectural press and Evening Standard.
As part of its programme, MPC consulted a wide variety of stakeholders, including a number of influential amenity and conservation groups, the local chamber of commerce and ward councillors.
A public exhibition was also organised and the positive feedback that resulted allowed our client to demonstrate a high degree of public support to officers and politicians in the local authority.
The planning application received a planning consent at its first examination.
